It has been a pleasure working with Marcella DiLonardo of Modest Marce, a gorgeous blog packed with recipes and inspiring photography. We are honored that she has used our Shelter glasses many times….and wanted to share a few of her images with you.
Marcella shared her feeling about the glasses with us recently. “I absolutely love the glassware! The minimal shape & style mixed with the high quality of the hand blown glass.. I use them for all my cocktails! “
We also feel, once you get these glasses into your hands, it is hard to use anything else. We love how she uses the pitcher as a mixing vessel for cocktails.
Because it is getting warm out there…today we are sharing her Blackberry Mojito recipe with you! Drink up!
(makes one drink)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon fine sugar
8 fresh mint leaves
8 fresh blackberries
1/2 cup crushed ice
2 ounces white rum
2 ounces club soda
In a clear glass add the lime juice, sugar, mint & blackberries. Using a muddle, gently press down ensuring the blackberries are sufficiently muddled & the juices have been released.
Add ice, white rum & club soda.
Stir & garnish with fresh mint & a slice of lime.
